A movement studio where expert guidance helps you understand your body, move better, and build a practice that is truly your own.

Move with Purpose

Maybe you've reached a point where you want to become more engaged in how you move. You want to understand what you're doing, why it matters, and how to respond to your body as it changes.

You may be looking to move out of pain, improve your mobility, rebuild after pregnancy, maintain your strength as you age, or simply feel better in your body. Whatever brings you here, you're looking for more than a workout.

You want to understand your body, move with greater confidence, and build a practice that supports you for the long term.

More Than a Workout

We see you as a whole person. Your movement history, your goals, your current stage of life, your confidence. We care about them all.

Our goal is to facilitate your relationship with your body, so that you can build awareness and a deeper understanding of how to move well.

We don’t simply lead you through exercises. We make thoughtful decisions based on observation and expertise, so that you can build a connection to your own body that leads to greater strength, mobility, and confidence.

New Client Intro Package

3 Private Sessions + Pilates Principles Mini Course

This package is designed to help you get started at Curated Pilates with clarity, confidence, and personal guidance.

You’ll work one-on-one with an instructor for three private sessions to learn the fundamentals of the method, the equipment, and how to make thoughtful adjustments for your body.

Alongside your sessions, you’ll receive access to our Pilates Principles Mini Course: a short, self-paced series that explores how breath, core engagement, and awareness work together in both Pilates and daily life.

Together, these elements help you understand the why behind the work so your studio sessions feel more connected, effective, and empowering. This package is ideal for clients new to Pilates or returning after time away.

By the end, you’ll have a strong foundation and be well prepared to transition into group classes, ongoing privates, or a combination of both.

Completion of the Intro Package is required for clients new to Pilates before joining group classes.

Hear from our clients:

“I started reformer classes several years ago as a total beginner. Kaarin is an amazing teacher. She is unfailingly patient. She explains the exercises clearly and with very specific imagery and instruction, making it easier to do the movements correctly. She also has an eagle eye. She is attentive to very small details of my posture and movement and then gives me pinpointed corrections. She keeps track of my pain and limitations and always gives me alternatives when I need to do something differently. My strength and flexibility have obviously improved, and I am now less likely to injure myself in other activities and daily life.”

~Kelly M.

“I have taken pilates with Kaarin for about 4 years and have also worked privately with her.  She is extremely knowledgeable and patient and has a detailed, personalized understanding of her students' needs.  She knows how to encourage me to push myself safely.  I honestly feel that my classes with her have kept me very active and mobile into my late sixties and despite my many prior injuries.”

~Carolyn H.

“Like many former ballerinas, Karrin is not only a striking beauty, she also suffered an injury that changed the trajectory of her life.  For me and many others, we know how lucky we are that Kaarin and her husband decided to move to Vermont.

As a Pilates teacher, Kaarin is in a class by herself.  For me, the pace of the class, the attention to form, the cues that may at first sound subtle and nuanced but which can yield more intense engagement of muscle groups are just a few reasons why her classes are in such demand.

Karrin's intuitiveness and knowledge of the human body motivated me to ask her if she would work one on one with me.  So glad I did!  Working one on one with Kaarin helped me activate dormant/lazy muscle groups that up till then were perfectly happy to let other muscles do their jobs.

Not a class goes by where I don't learn something.

Even when Kaarin's attention is elsewhere, I'm leaning in, listening to every word she is saying.”
